Welcome to my poetry website

Over the years I’ve written heart-felt poetry reflective of both my nursing career and life experiences.

It is my sincere desire to provide encouragement and empathy along with comfort and closure to those who read my poems.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had a second chance at life and obtaining my nursing degree.

It has opened the door to some incredible opportunities and life experiences I would have otherwise missed.

I am convinced the one true path to equality is through education and that everyone deserves an opportunity to pursue their dreams hopefully making a difference in the lives of others.

Throughout my career I’ve witnessed the excitement that comes with bringing new life into this world and the despair that comes with letting go of those we know and love.

I truly believe the beginning of life is such a precious gift and that the end of life deserves both honor and respect.

It is with respect for both that I offer my poems encouraging people to live each day to its’ fullest and to never take life or the ones you love for granted.
